Thorough Project Management Services
- Benchmark can provide project management for a single well or a multi well projects
- Benchmark can provide services right from the point of surveying, breaking ground on lease construction through to arranging and mobilizing equipment to drill and complete the well.
- Benchmark will submit license applications and end of well submissions for all of OGC, ERCB and SIR.
Detailed Engineering Services
- Drilling personnel will create an AFE quality cost estimate, detailed drilling program as well as a stick diagram.
- Completions personnel will provide an AFE quality cost estimate and detailed completion program outlining the job. This process includes obtaining quotes from and arranging service providers to complete the job.
- Benchmark can also provide daily support from the office to look after the field operations. This includes managing the daily reports using Wellman from Resource Link.
Drilling/Completions Highlights
Benchmark has been involved in a vast variety of projects. Drilling services are provided for clients such as Richmount Petroleum, Glamis Resources, Martin Head Oil and Gas, Auburn Energy and Petrostar among others. These involve locations across AB, SK and BC. Recent drilling projects include:
- 100 Bakken horizontal wells in SE SK with Petrobank Energy
- Roughly 60 Lower Shaunavon horizontals in SW SK with Wave Energy
Completions services are teeming with activity. Benchmark is working with companies such as Lario Oil and Gas, Glamis Resources, Crystal Lake Resources, Ranch West Energy, Warrior Energy Corp among several other small operators. This work has been across AB, SK and BC involving completions, workovers, re-entries and abandonments.
Recent Completions projects include:
- Heavy involvement with High Pine Oil and Gas and their critical sour completions and workovers in the Drayton Valley area
- Engineering support for Sasol Petroleum in South Africa
